Rajasthan to auction remaining liquor shops in March

The Rajasthan Excise Department has reportedly announced plans to e-auction the remaining 10 percent of liquor shops after successfully renewing licences for 90 percent of the existing outlets. Interested parties must submit their applications by 11.59 pm on March 10 and deposit 2 percent of the minimum reserve price as a security amount.

Out of the total 7,665 liquor shops in the state, 6,899 have already been renewed for the financial year 2025-26, leaving 766 shops to be auctioned online on March 11.
