Cove ‘s new dining and nightlife address in Kolkata

Cove has opened on Ho Chi Minh Sarani, introducing a 4,000 sq. ft restaurant-bar designed to function as an all-day dining space that transitions into a nightlife venue by evening.

With a seating capacity of around 130, Cove is structured into multiple zones, including a main dining and party floor, a mezzanine-level VIP lounge, a central bar area, and a private dining room that can be customised for closed-group gatherings. The venue also houses a resident DJ booth overlooking the main floor.

The interiors, designed by Akash Roy, draw from a contemporary “cave” concept, using dark tones, sculptural forms and textured materials. Lighting design by Glowz Lighting Design allows the space to shift in mood from daytime dining to late-night entertainment.

Cove offers a global cuisine menu alongside a cocktail-led bar programme, with options catering to vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free preferences. The venue does not offer delivery services, focusing instead on the dine-in experience.

Founded by Aditya Kumar Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal and Ambrish Agarwal, Cove is positioned to cater to Kolkata’s mature urban audience seeking a combined dining and nightlife format in a central city location.
