Delhi has got a new bar, Together, inspired by Tokyo’s legendary ‘kissa’. Hidden in an unassuming alley, the bar is designed by Manav Dangg of Studio Dangg.

Entering Together feels like stepping into another world. The interiors blend warm wood, textured mirrors and cobbled walls with red-hued lighting that casts a soft glow across close corners. There are no grand entrances, no neon signs, only the act of finding Together is part of the journey.

Music leads the experience with Vinyls lining the room, curated jazz and throwback records fill the air. A dedicated listening room and strategically placed speakers ensure sound is never background; it is the story. “Together is for people who’ve seen the world or are curious to. We exist somewhere between Japan and Delhi. You taste it in the cocktails and hear it in the gentle, jazzy, throwback music,” says its Co-Founder Vansh Pahuja.

Cocktails follow the rhythm. “We draw from Japanese sensibilities: savoury notes, highball forms, quiet balance. Flavour has nowhere to hide when you strip things down,” says Ravi Negi, Head of Bar. The menu flows like a record, moving from low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to full-bodied cocktails. Light expressions like Rum Whisper, Golden Hour and Rosé Martini sit alongside Track 1, Track 3 and Track 4, crafted with yuzu, basil, miso butter-washed scotch, grape brine, wasabi-washed rum, mango and clarified coconut milk. Classics like Dirty Martini, Sidecar and Old Fashioned enrich the menu.

The food is designed for sharing, from dips and small plates to crisp tempuras and composed dishes, featuring edamame hummus, Bangkok guacamole, miso tahini, vegetable tempura, cornflake-crusted onion rings, chicken karaage, prawn tempura and gomae salad. Signature recommendations include dips, gyoza, karaage, veg tempura and sandos, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

“This space is built around three things I love deeply: Music leads, cocktails follow and community is what makes it all work,” says Co-Founder Dhruv Kapoor.

Operating daily from 5 pm to 1 am, Together is a listening room, a design space and a community hub where time slows, senses sharpen and every moment feels intentional.
