AB InBev to expand its presence in Telangana

AB InBev has announced plans to invest significantly to expand its existing manufacturing facility in Telangana, reinforcing the state’s appeal as a destination for international industrial investment. The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos.

The commitment was made during a high-level meeting between the Telangana Rising delegation, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and John Blood, Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer of AB InBev.  AB InBev currently runs two manufacturing plants in Telangana, employing around 600 people. The expansion is expected to enhance production capacity and generate substantial additional revenue for the state annually.

The expansion underscores Telangana’s success in leveraging global forums like Davos to secure international partnerships while boosting local economic development and employment opportunities.
