Akash Beniwal wins IBG Flair Challenge Competition 2025
Akash Beniwal emerged victorious at the India Bartender Guild (IBG) Flair Challenge Competition 2025, held at the KTPO Convention Centre, Bengaluru, as part of Brews & Spirits, one of India’s leading platforms for the alcobev and hospitality industry. Hailing from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, Beniwal impressed judges and audiences alike with a performance that blended technical precision and world-class flair.
The high-energy competition saw intense participation from talented bartenders across the country. Rahu Negi from Dehradun, Uttarakhand secured second place, while Amal Mathew from Kerala finished third, rounding off a closely contested podium. The championship celebrated exceptional bartending skills and highlighted the growing depth of flair talent in India.
Performances were evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry experts comprising Archit Singhal, President, India Bartender Guild; Monish Raj, renowned bartending professional; Chetan Choramule, award-winning flair bartender and IBG Champion; and Shravan Kumar B, hospitality and mixology specialist. Their assessment focused on skill, precision, creativity, and overall stage presence.
Reinforcing IBG’s commitment to providing global exposure to Indian bartenders, the winner of the IBG Flair Challenge 2025 will receive an exclusive International Competition Opportunity. The champion will be nominated to represent India and IBG at a leading international flair championship or may be given the opportunity to compete in a prestigious bartending competition in Macau.
