Diageo India appoints Chinmay Sharma as CHRO

Diageo India has announced the appointment of Chinmay Sharma as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Chinmay brings over two decades of global human resources experience across multinational organisations including GSK, Philip Morris International and Procter & Gamble. His expertise spans talent strategy, organisational transformation and capability building across diverse international markets.

Prior to joining Diageo India, He served as HR Business Leader, Performance Emerging Markets at GSK and earlier as CHRO and Executive Vice President – Human Resources for GSK India.

At Diageo India, Sharma succeeds Shilpa Vaid, who has taken on the role of Regional HR Director APAC and Global Travel at Diageo.
