Diageo India has expanded its award-winning artisanal single malt, Godawan, with the exclusive travel retail expression Godawan Triple Cask now available at Mumbai and Delhi duty free outlets. Initially launched for global travellers, the variant was previously offered in Dubai and Bengaluru duty-free. Crafted exclusively for travel retail, the expansion strengthens the brand’s premium positioning among international flyers.
Launched in 2022, Godawan is built on craftsmanship, mindful luxury and conscious consumption. The range includes Godawan 01, Godawan 02, Limited Edition Godawan 100, a Taj-exclusive edition, Triple Cask Travel Exclusive and the recently introduced Godawan 173. At the 2026 Superior Taste Awards by the International Taste Institute, Godawan 01, 02 and 173 secured the coveted Triple Gold honour.

Commenting on the expansion, Vikram Damodaran, Chief Innovation Officer, Diageo India, said, “With our presence now expanding across key global travel retail markets, these channels allow us to engage with consumers at moments of discovery, where gifting, collecting and connection naturally come together. By creating expressions that are both collectable and culturally rooted, Godawan continues to position Indian whisky as a definitive voice of craftsmanship in the world’s most connected spaces. The Godawan Triple Cask Travel Exclusive brings a new dimension of flavour and depth. For a brand shaped by terroir and storytelling, this format helps us carry the spirit of Rajasthan to a broader global audience in a way that is personal, purposeful and proudly Indian.”
Produced at its Alwar distillery in Rajasthan, the Triple Cask expression is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in PX sherry, virgin oak and cherry wood. Bottled at 46 percent ABV, the 700 ml variant is priced at around ₹5,500.
