JP-GTR to debut two American Spirits

JP-GTR  has announced plans to showcase two expanding U.S. spirits from Virginia Distillery Co. and Grain & Barrel Spirits portfolios during  the 2026 Summit of the Americas at Booth 323 scheduled to take place from March 28–31.

As global duty free agent for both companies, with a focus on Europe and the Americas,  JP-GTR will introduce both producers to the global travel retail channel for the first time. Virginia Distillery Co. will present its American Single Malt whiskies following the formal recognition of the American Single Malt category in the United States in 2025, marking the first new U.S. whiskey classification in more than five decades.

Meanwhile, Grain & Barrel Spirits will spotlight Chicken Cock Whiskey, a heritage bourbon brand established in 1856 and historically known as “The Famous Old Brand.” Crafted from a mash bill of 70 percent  corn, 21 percent rye and 9 percent malted barley, and matured for a minimum of four years in American white oak barrels, the whiskey delivers notes of toasted oak, butterscotch and vanilla.

The participation forms part of JP-GTR’s wider strategy to introduce differentiated craft and premium American spirits into international duty free, supporting partner brands as they secure their first global travel retail listings and expand into new markets.
