Khoday India promotes P. Balaji to lead Sales & Marketing
Khoday India Limited has announced the redesignation of P. Balaji, Senior Vice President, as Head – Sales & Marketing. He will be headquartered at the Corporate Office, Bangalore.
In his new role, Balaji will be responsible for overseeing the overall Sales and Marketing operations of the organization. He will report directly to the Chairman and Managing Director, K. L. Swamy, and the Executive Director of the Company. He will lead the planning, organization, and execution of business strategies for the Liquor Division of Khoday India Limited.
Balaji will have complete responsibility for the Civil, CSD, Paramilitary, and Export business verticals within the Liquor Division.
An Executive MBA from Cornell University, Balaji brings with him more than three decades of rich experience in Sales, Marketing, and Operations, primarily in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry. Known as a solution-driven professional, he is recognized for his ability to develop innovative responses to complex business challenges. His experience with owner-driven organizations has enabled him to effectively align promoter objectives with market realities while balancing a dynamic business environment.
A recognized leader within Khodays, Balaji has been instrumental in developing multiple business models for the Company. He has played a key role in managing nationwide distribution networks, with a strong focus on delivering budgeted Net Sales Value (NSV), as well as driving third-party tie-ups to enhance revenue generation.
During his long association with Khodays since 1990, Balaji has successfully led the launch of several key brands, including Hercules Bianco White Rum, Red Knight Premium Malt Whisky, and Hercules Deluxe Rum.
