Novotel has appointed Amit Sangwan as Cluster General Manager (CGM) of Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa. In his new role, Amit will oversee the strategic direction, operational performance and commercial growth of both properties, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning, enhancing guest experiences and driving sustainable growth across leisure, MICE and food and beverage segments.

A seasoned hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, Amit brings deep expertise in operational excellence, guest experience transformation and people-centric leadership across luxury, upper-upscale and business hotel segments. He joins the Novotel Candolim complex from Novotel Ahmedabad, where he served as General Manager since May 2023. During his tenure, he led strong commercial performance, improved operational efficiencies and consistently delivered high guest satisfaction scores.

Amit is widely recognised within the industry for his leadership capabilities and has received several accolades, including being named among the Top 5 General Managers of Business Hotels at the Hospitality Horizon Awards 2024, Gujarat’s Best General Manager by the CMO Asia Awards, and Most Admired GM of the Year at the International Hospitality & Travel Awards. His career spans leadership roles with leading hotel brands, managing large-scale operations, complex food and beverage portfolios, pre-opening projects and destination-led resorts.
