Oaksmith’s Nagomi wins Silver at World Whiskies Awards

Nagomi whisky from Oaksmith has been awarded Silver in the Blended Whisky category for Taste at the World Whiskies Awards 2026, marking a significant global milestone for Oaksmith, India’s pioneering international blended whisky brand.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Nagomi, which represents harmony and balance, this premium expression brings together aged Scotch malts, smooth American bourbons and refined Japanese blending techniques. The result is a whisky that delivers layered richness, remarkable smoothness and a balanced flavour profile, resonating strongly with Indian consumers seeking elevated, globally informed whisky experiences.

Nagomi is crafted under the vision of Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender at Suntory and Master Blender of the Year at the International Spirits Challenge 2024, whose approach marries precision, depth and character across global whisky traditions.
