Piccadily brings global mixologist Simone Caporale to India
India’s luxury spirits and cocktail culture is set to witness a landmark moment as Piccadily’s Cashmir Vodka and Camikara Rum collaborate with globally celebrated mixologist Simone Caporale for his first-ever visit to the country. The internationally acclaimed bartender and co-founder of SIPS, currently ranked the world’s No. 3 bar, will lead an exclusive series of mixology experiences in India in early March.
The programme, curated by The Experience India in partnership with the two spirits from the house of Piccadilly Distillery, will feature bar takeovers and masterclasses for industry professionals and cocktail enthusiasts. The events will take place at AABBCC on 6 March and Japonico on 7 March 2026.

The two signature bar takeovers will see Caporale personally presenting bespoke cocktails crafted with Cashmir Vodka and Camikara Rum, bringing the creative philosophy of SIPS, Barcelona directly to Indian audiences. Alongside these curated evenings, Caporale will also conduct two exclusive masterclasses exploring his approach to modern mixology, focusing on precision, creativity and guest-centric storytelling.
At the heart of the collaboration is the belief that world-class cocktails begin with exceptional spirits. Cashmir Vodka, positioned as India’s first organic craft vodka, and Camikara Rum, described as India’s first premium pure cane juice aged rum, will serve as the base for the mixologist’s experimental cocktail creations.

Speaking on his first visit to India, Simone said, “For me, everything begins and ends with taste, product and functional serve—every element in the glass must exist for a reason. When SIPS travels beyond Barcelona, it becomes beautifully fragile, and that fragility is what excites me. It opens the door for something entirely new to be born.
Caporale, who gained global recognition during his tenure at the Artesian, Bar at The Langham, named the world’s best bar for four consecutive years, said he is excited to explore India’s vibrant flavour culture.

Shalini Sharma, Head of Marketing at Piccadily added, “We have always believed that our world-classaward-winning spirits, like Cashmir Vodka and Camikara Rum, deserve world-class storytelling and experiences. This collaboration goes beyond a visit or a bar takeover—it is about raising the overall standard of mixology in India. Simone Caporale and SIPS represent the very best of modern cocktail culture, and through this association, we aim to inspire bartenders, engage consumers and contribute meaningfully to the evolution of India’s hospitality ecosystem.”
Beyond consumer experiences, the initiative aims to inspire innovation within India’s bartending community and strengthen the global perception of Indian-origin spirits on the international cocktail stage.
