Suntory Global Spirits appoints Carol Robert as International President

Suntory Global Spirits has named Carol Robert as its new International President, reinforcing its global leadership structure with a strong internal promotion. Based in London, Carol succeeds Yuri Grebenkin, who departed the company at the end of last year after a decade with the group, including three years in the international president role.

Carol previously served as Managing Director of the company’s RTD operations in the US. Prior to that, she spent six years as COO for Great Britain & Ireland at the non-alcoholic food and beverages arm of parent Suntory Holdings. She joined Suntory Beverage & Food Europe in 2018 as Talent Director and was promoted to COO within seven months. CEO Greg Hughes highlighted her deep UK and European leadership experience and strong understanding of international markets.

In a related move, North America President Carlo Coppola has been elevated to President of the Americas, adding Latin America and the Caribbean to his remit. Additionally, Mexico MD Humberto Pérez will now serve as MD for Latin America, reporting to Coppola and overseeing Brazil’s commercial operations and the regional distributor network.
