Absolut & Tabasco launch spicy vodka Absolut Tabasco

Global spirits majors Absolut Vodka and Tabasco Brand have joined forces to launch Absolut Tabasco, a new chilli pepper-flavoured vodka that blends two iconic brands known for bold flavour and heritage. The product is now available in the United States and will roll out across more than 50 markets worldwide.

Absolut Tabasco is crafted by infusing Absolut Vodka with a natural essence derived from the fermented and aged red pepper mash used in Tabasco Sauce. The result delivers the signature heat and aroma of the world’s most recognisable pepper sauce balanced with Absolut’s smooth vodka profile. The vodka contains no added sugar, is gluten-free, and offers a gradual, warming spice that lingers on the palate.

The launch comes amid rising global demand for spicy food and beverages, with spicy vodka sales forecast to grow by 27 percent by 2029. Designed for versatility, Absolut Tabasco can be enjoyed in classic cocktails such as Bloody Marys, Spicy Lemonades, as a shot, or as a flavourful base for contemporary serves at social occasions ranging from brunches to music festivals.

The collaboration unites two brands with more than a century of history. Founded in 1868, Tabasco Sauce is still produced on Avery Island, Louisiana, using handpicked red peppers aged in oak barrels for up to three years. Absolut Vodka is distilled exclusively in Åhus, Sweden, using winter wheat and pristine water.

The bottle design merges Tabasco’s bold colours and diamond label with Absolut’s signature apothecary silhouette. The launch will be supported by a global creative campaign developed by Wieden + Kennedy London, highlighting the product’s distinctive heat through dramatic, visually striking storytelling.
