Astelia Languedoc Grand Crus launches at Changi Airport
Les Domaines Paul Mas has announced the first major airport listing of its travel retail-exclusive wine range, Astelia, with a launch at Singapore Changi Airport. The debut marks a significant milestone for the producer, introducing the “rural luxury” character of Languedoc’s grand cru wines to international travellers.

The Astelia range reflects a distinctive blend of tradition, innovation and contemporary French flair. It includes Astelia Grangette 111, a Chardonnay priced at €50; Astelia Tannes 122, a Cabernet Sauvignon for €30; and Astelia Chalamat 178, a Syrah-Grenache for €75. Each cuvée is named after the altitude of its micro-terroir plot, all located within a two-kilometre radius, underscoring the range’s strong sense of place.
Jean-Claude Mas, owner of Domaines Paul Mas, follows what he describes as a “noetic” approach with Astelia, ensuring that every wine expresses the living connection between land, vine, people and culture, while aspiring to stand alongside leading Mediterranean wines and remaining faithful to its micro-terroir.

The portfolio is complemented by premium extensions, including the Masterpiece collection of 30 hand-painted Daum crystal bottles priced at €2,000 each, created by artist Christophe Heymann, along with limited-edition replicas. The range is presented with Sense of Place sleeves, geological map labels and picnic-inspired packs, and is supported at Changi Airport by dedicated global travel retail merchandising such as free-standing units, gondola heads and glorifiers.
Commenting on the launch, Jean-Claude said the cuvées embody Domaines Paul Mas’ philosophy of rural luxury, rooted in respect for the vine, winemaking savoir-faire and harmony with nature. Asia Export Manager Kévin Florès added that securing Singapore Changi Airport as Astelia’s first major airport listing represents a strategic step in the group’s Asia-Pacific travel retail expansion, offering global travellers a premium, terroir-driven French wine experience.
