Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin unveils Mountain Berry Gin
Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin has introduced Mountain Berry Gin with Cherry Blossom, expanding its Meghalaya-based portfolio with a highland botanical profile. Distilled from rainwater and made without sweeteners or colouring, the release is positioned to showcase ingredients native to the Cherrapunji–Mawsynram region.
The gin’s natural pink tint comes from cherry blossom petals and the Khasi Sohiong berry, a seasonal mountain fruit prized for its deep colour and sweet-tart character. The botanical mix also features taro root, chamomile, Eastern Himalayan juniper, Khasi mandarin and Kaji Nemu, which the distillery says lend a floral-citrus aroma and a berry-forward finish.

Staying with its commitment to transparent distillation, the brand notes that the spirit relies entirely on its botanicals for flavour and structure. Served over ice or with tonic, the gin’s vivid colour softens into a pale pink derived solely from natural pigments.
The launch also debuts an integrated pour-measuring cap, a patent-applied mechanism designed for faster, more accurate serving. Packaging continues the brand’s stainless-steel-led aesthetic with selective gold embossing.
With this new variant, Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin further advances its aim of positioning Meghalaya’s highland ecology as a distinctive voice in India’s craft spirits landscape.
