Everest Gin debuts with a drop of melted snow
The Adventurers Drinks Company has unveiled its latest creation, Everest Gin, a small-batch spirit crafted with botanicals from the Himalayan foothills and a single drop of melted snow collected from the summit of Mount Everest.
The gin is inspired by world-renowned British climber Kenton Cool, who gathered the snow during his record-breaking 19th successful ascent of the world’s highest mountain. Each bottle is hand-crafted using juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamom, pepper, and bay leaf to reflect the purity and wild spirit of the Himalayas.
The brand describes Everest Gin as bright, aromatic, and layered with herbal complexity, offering “a rare taste of altitude, wilderness, and wonder.”
A portion of the profits from every bottle will go to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, which supports Gurkha veterans, their families, and communities with financial, medical, and development aid. To mark Cool’s 19 ascents, 19 limited-edition bottles signed by him will be sold at a special price, with all profits from these going to the Trust. Everest Gin is available online for £37.50.
