Glandore whiskey from Australia make its debut

Glandore blended, barrel-matured whiskey has officially made its debut in India, marking the launch of the first whiskey from Australia. Exclusively imported by Basil Alliance Services Pvt Ltd, Glandore has been introduced in Uttar Pradesh, with Haryana and New Delhi slated for rollout shortly.

Glandore is aged primarily in ex-bourbon American oak to impart sweetness, before being finished in Australian Chardonnay wine casks that lend a distinctive fruity depth tailored to the Indian palate. The whiskey opens with notes of honeycomb and vanilla, followed by rich caramel and ripe stone fruits, delivering a smooth, warming finish. Glandore’s retail price ranges between Rs 1400 to 1,900 for 750 ml.

Positioned as a volume-driving premium for high-end retail and upscale dining, Glandore strengthens Basil Alliance’s growing portfolio. Founded in August 2021 and headquartered in Delhi, Basil Alliance Services specializes in importing and distributing premium spirits and wines, including Australian labels such as Glenside D’Vine and handcrafted RTDs, under the leadership of founder Vibhuti Dixit, who brings over 15 years of international experience in the Australian wine industry.
