Glenfiddich launched limited edition 16 YO

Glenfiddich has unveiled a limited-edition 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, commemorating its ongoing partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One Team.

Crafted from a meticulous marriage of American oak wine casks, new American barrels and second-fill bourbon casks, the whisky offers a rich and complex profile with notes of maple syrup, caramelised ginger, fresh fruit salad and Chantilly cream. The finish is described as smooth and bold, an experience that mirrors the intuitive connection between a Formula One driver and their car.

The partnership, first announced in November 2024 at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, marks a collaboration between two icons known for heritage and excellence.

The Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky opens with a rich and beautifully sweet nose, revealing layers of biscuity cheesecake base, maple syrup, caramelised ginger and subtle toasted oak. On the palate, it is indulgent and confectionery sweet, offering a silky, syrupy mouthfeel with notes of fresh fruit salad and Chantilly cream. The finish is exceptionally smooth, leaving a sustained sweetness that lingers gracefully, perfectly capturing the whisky’s balance of craftsmanship and character.
