Glenmorangie unveils dinner series to celebrate 18YO

Glenmorangie has launched its Infinita Dinner Series, a culinary journey that pairs fine Indian cuisine with the brand’s celebrated single malts. The series is inspired by Glenmorangie Infinita 18 Years Old, an award-winning expression that has earned more than 23 international accolades since 2011.

Developed in partnership with leading Indian chefs, the Infinita Dinner Series aims to highlight how Glenmorangie’s refined whiskies, particularly the Infinita 18YO, complement India’s diverse and evolving palate. Each city is hosting a limited-period pairing menu designed to create a multi-sensory experience through regional flavours and storytelling.

The series, which opened on November 1 at The Lodhi, New Delhi, will travel to Mumbai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Gurugram, and Kolkata. In the national capital, an immersive menu. ‘Layers of Memory, Echoes of Oak’, crafted by Chef Ashish Sharma, is available until November 15 at ₹4,999++. The menu draws on the idea of cuisine and whisky as vessels of memory, with dishes inspired by personal moments and nostalgic flavours.

The multi-course experience features an amuse bouche of Granny Smith apple, coconut cream and green cardamom; salad options including Capri Essence or Parma Bloom; and pasta courses paired with Glenmorangie The Original 12 Years Old, offering mushroom-filled Forest Fold or lobster-rich Coastal Velvet. The main course, paired with the star expression Infinita 18YO, includes vegetarian Roman Reverie or Rustic Gold slow-cooked chicken, concluding with a Fig and Date Sticky Pudding served alongside The Date & Fig Old Fashioned.

Speaking at the launch, Smriti Sekhsaria, Marketing Director at Moët Hennessy India, said, “The Glenmorangie Infinita Dinner Series represents our continued celebration of creativity and craftsmanship. With the Infinita 18 Years Old now available in India, we want to create an experience that lets guests taste its infinite layers of flavour in dialogue with beautifully crafted cuisine. Each chef brings their own story and regional touch to the table, elevating the essence of Glenmorangie in a uniquely Indian context.”

Crafted under Dr. Bill Lumsden, the Infinita 18 Years Old is matured for 15 years in American oak bourbon casks before a portion is rested for three more years in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a whisky of honeyed citrus, floral notes and warm spice, encapsulated in packaging marked with the infinity symbol.
