Hendrick’s gin launches Another Hendrick’s
William Grant & Sons has launched Another Hendrick’s, the first new permanent expression from its flagship gin brand Hendrick’s in almost 10 years.
Another Hendrick’s builds on the original Hendrick’s recipe, enhanced with two additional botanicals, cacao and orange blossom, to create a distinctive new flavour profile.
As with the classic expression, the liquid is crafted using two different stills: an antique copper pot Bennett still dating back to 1860 and a Carterhead still from 1948. Botanicals are steeped overnight in the Bennett still, while the Carterhead gently steams them in a basket suspended above its neck, a process said to produce a lighter, more fragrant spirit.
The resulting profile delivers vibrant juniper and bright citrus notes on the nose, layered with orange blossom and subtle sweetness. On the palate, cacao adds depth alongside fresh citrus, culminating in a smooth finish.
The brand recommends serving the new release in the Another Hendrick’s Spritz, combining 50ml Another Hendrick’s Gin, 50ml apple juice, 50ml Prosecco, 75ml soda and a bar spoon of cherry liqueur, garnished with three cucumber slices, a cocktail cherry and a twist of orange.
Another Hendrick’s is presented in an opaque white bottle, offering a striking contrast to the brand’s signature black design. Bottled at 41.4 Percent ABV, the gin is now available at a recommended retail price of US$45.
