Johnnie Walker launches Year of the Horse Blue Label
Johnnie Walker has unveiled a Lunar New Year limited-edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label bottle for the Year of the Horse, created in collaboration with fashion designer Robert Wun. The release brings together luxury Scotch whisky and contemporary design, drawing inspiration from the horse as a symbol of strength, resilience and forward momentum.
Robert’s design reflects both the cultural significance of the horse and the layered character of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. The bottle houses the brand’s flagship blended Scotch whisky, crafted from rare and exceptional casks, including selections from long-closed “ghost” distilleries. Only one in 10,000 casks is chosen for Blue Label, underscoring its positioning at the pinnacle of the Johnnie Walker portfolio.

The whisky itself is described as velvety smooth and vibrant, offering aromas of subtle pepper and spice, a deep golden appearance and a palate featuring hazelnuts, citrus fruit, vanilla sweetness and honey, leading to a long, luxurious smoky finish.
Speaking on the collaboration, Robert said the project aligned with his belief in craftsmanship and storytelling, noting that working with a heritage brand like Johnnie Walker allowed him to push creative boundaries. The limited-edition release is positioned as a premium gifting expression for Lunar New Year celebrations.
