Radico Khaitan’s Rampur Distillery has launched Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur, the first release in its Ankahi Liqueur series. The new product made its debut at ProWein 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany that is being held from March 16 to 18.

Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan said, “Our vision is to take India to the world, showcasing its hidden and forgotten gems to a global audience. Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur embodies this mission, blending India’s rich heritage with the art of liqueur-making.”

The name Ankahi, meaning “untold,” symbolises the discovery of India’s hidden herbal treasures. The unique bottle design reflects this theme, inviting consumers to explore the mysteries within. “We are excited to share this unique creation, reflecting our commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability while offering global consumers an authentic taste of India,” said Sanjeev Banga, President of International Business at Radico Khaitan.

Ankahi Zaffran Spiced LiqueurAnkahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur draws its inspiration from the rich landscapes of India, particularly the saffron fields of Kashmir. Crafted with precision, it blends 21 handpicked herbs, including clove, cardamom, cinnamon, star anise and coriander, creating a complex and inviting flavour profile. Saffron, often called the “jewel of spices,” forms the heart of this liqueur, adding a vibrant golden hue and a distinctive taste.

“Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur is a celebration of India’s rich heritage and botanical legacy. We have carefully crafted this exceptional liqueur to offer a distinctive sensory experience that embodies the untold stories of India. Ankahi is more than just a drink – it’s a journey through India’s vibrant culture and ancient traditions, now brought to life for the world to discover,” emphasised Kunal Madan, Senior Vice President of International Business at Radico Khaitan.

The liqueur will be available in two sizes: a 1 litre bottle for Global Travel Retail and a 700ml bottle for sale in international market. Shipments are set to begin in April 2025, with distribution across key markets in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. It will be available at leading liquor retailers and duty-free shops worldwide.

“Continuing our journey of innovation, we plan to introduce two more luxury brands in the first half of fiscal 2026,” informed Abhishek.
