Royal Salute reopens whisky boutique at Dubai Duty Free

Royal Salute has relaunched its dedicated whisky boutique in partnership with Dubai Duty Free (DDF) for the second consecutive year. The 62 sqm boutique offers travellers guided tastings and access to exclusive whiskies that are not available in domestic markets.

Inspired by Royal Salute’s heritage and its links to the British Monarchy, the experiential space presents a curated selection of rare and ultra-prestige expressions like the Royal Salute Art Edition: Forces of Nature by Kate McGwire, accompanied by a McGwire sculpture; Royal Salute 55 Year Old Time Series; the Royal Salute Coronation of King Charles III Edition; Royal Salute House of Quinn by Richard Quinn; and Royal Salute 25 YO – The Treasured Blend, created exclusively for DDF.

The boutique occupies the same prime location in Terminal 3 as last year, positioned close to luxury fashion, perfumes and cosmetics. The return follows the success of the previous activation, when the entire collection of Royal Salute Platinum Jubilee Editions was sold within four months for a record USD 140,000, the highest single wines and spirits transaction in DDF’s history.

Designed to immerse travellers in the Royal Salute universe, the boutique is divided into four distinct zones: The Classics & Inspired, The Pinnacle, The Experience Area and The Exclusives. Digital, out-of-home and in-store media enhance the experience, while tutored tastings are offered for key expressions, including Royal Salute 25 YO – The Treasured Blend and Royal Salute 26 YO Amarone Cask, another Dubai Duty Free travel retail exclusive launched in 2023.

The boutique also marks the Dubai debut of Taste Odyssey, a new tasting app developed by PR GTR’s Retail Excellence team, designed to guide consumers through a more sensory-focused whisky tasting journey.

The Royal Salute boutique at Dubai Duty Free is open for a minimum period of three months, until February 2026, with the potential to extend through the summer.
