Royal Salute unveils 2nd limited edition whisky with Harris Reed

Chivas Brothers’ Royal Salute has introduced the second release in its creative partnership with fashion designer Harris Reed. The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II builds on the success of the first edition, offering greater collectability, bolder design inspiration and a deeper expression of the designer’s eclectic style.

The blend features a higher proportion of Longmorn and first-fill Sherry butt–matured whiskies, delivering richer creamy and spiced notes. Braeval malts and Strathclyde grain whiskies add a delicate floral layer, resulting in a profile described as both delicate and boldly expressive, mirroring Reed’s balance of feminine elegance and masculine depth.

Aromas of clementine, ripe pears, sponge cake, hazelnut, salted caramel, cinnamon and chamomile lead to a palate of raspberries, apple rings, vanilla, cherry compote, orange chocolate and toasted oak, finishing with sweet, enduring spice highlighted by ginger.

The whisky is housed in a limited edition flagon offered in two bespoke designs inspired by royal crowns and intricate lacework, reinterpreted through Harris’ contemporary couture lens.

The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II is available at select luxury retailers in Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Poland at USD 325.
