Delhi has a new entrant in its nightlife and dining landscape with the launch of Potions: Cocktail Theatre, a cocktail-led venue combining mixology, performance and modern dining. Positioned as the city’s only cocktail theatre, the space offers immersive experiences set against views of the Qutub Minar.

Conceptualised by entrepreneur Sahil Baweja and actor-entrepreneur Sunny Leone, Potions is designed to blur the boundaries between bar, stage and dining room, placing storytelling at the centre of its offering.

The cocktail programme, curated by industry professional Kamal Kohli, is built around emotional storytelling rather than conventional flavour categories. The debut menu, ‘Love & Its Aftermath’, explores themes of modern relationships through theatrically presented cocktails crafted using layered techniques.

The food menu mirrors this approach, offering an à la carte selection that draws on Indian regional and GI-tagged flavours prepared using live-fire cooking methods. Dishes span small plates, modern grill preparations and tandoor-led offerings, with an emphasis on bold flavours, smoke and spice.

“With Potions, we wanted to explore romance in all its forms: the thrill, the chaos, the longing, the comfort,” says Sunny Leone. “Every cocktail and dish reflects an emotion people recognise. It’s indulgent, dramatic and deeply personal.”
