The Macallan unveils ‘Distil Your World Paris’ Exclusive

The Macallan has revealed the fifth edition in its acclaimed Distil Your World series,  Distil Your World Paris, a limited single malt celebrating the elegance and gastronomic artistry of the French capital. The release is exclusively available in travel retail at The Macallan Boutique at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, in partnership with Avolta, until March 27, before expanding to other airport boutiques worldwide.

Created by Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell in collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, the whisky pays tribute to Parisian refinement and l’art de la table. Inspired by flavours synonymous with the city, it features notes of almond croissant, buttered brioche, peach melba and gentle spices. American and European sherry-seasoned oak casks provide sweetness and structure, ex-bourbon casks add warmth, while rare Cognac casks lend a distinct French flourish.

Bottled at 47.2 percent ABV, the whisky carries a natural hue named “Parisian Sunrise.” Priced at USD $4,750, the launch is accompanied by a documentary featuring Campbell and Joan Roca exploring Parisian culinary heritage with celebrated artisans including Anne-Sophie Pic and Apollonia Poilâne.
