World Whiskey Society launches cigar pairing whisky

World Whiskey Society (WWS) has unveiled its latest masterpiece, American Light Whisky Cigar Blend Gothic Edition, aged 20 years. Created with cigar lovers in mind, this ultra-premium expression is meticulously crafted to elevate the whisky and cigar pairing experience.

What sets this release apart is its finishing in six distinctive cask types—Cognac, Tawny Port, Awamori, Tequila, PX Sherry, and Madeira—resulting in a complex and multi-layered profile. The combination offers rich notes of dried fruit, aged tobacco, dark chocolate, citrus peel, and subtle spice, designed to complement the earthy and smoky profile of a fine cigar.

Deep amber in colour, the Gothic Edition opens with aromas of figs, caramel, raisins, and aged tobacco leaves, followed by a bold palate of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, citrus, and herbaceous undertones. Its long, warming finish lingers with impressions of oak, caramel, and citrus zest, echoing the elegance of a well-aged cigar.
