JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, in collaboration with Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort, is set to offer a sensational Sri Lankan culinary journey at JW Café from February 15-23. This exclusive event will take the guests on a gastronomic journey with a specially curated Sri Lankan cuisine menu by Chef Chaminda De Silva from Sheraton Kosgoda and Chef Prakash Chettiyar, Director of Culinary at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar.

The culinary showcase will highlight a range of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, including soul-warming soups like Sri Lankan-style Thamibum Hehodi and Mutton and Rice Kanji, flavourful starters like Isso Wade, Colombo Chicken Masala Coconut Roti, Chicken drumstick lollipop, and Fish Cutlets.

A vibrant selection of salads adds depth and texture to the dining experience. Tantalising combinations like Pineapple and Bitter Cucumber Green Chilli Salad, Raw Mango and Ambarella Salad, and the refreshing crunch of Bitter Gourd Salad and Tomato Onion Green Chilli Salad will be served.  The feast will continue with a lavish main course spread spotlighting Sri Lanka’s signature dishes like the Sri Lankan-style Mutton Rice, Stew Devil Prawn, Dhal Thampala, Tempered Okra, Devil Fish, Colombo Chicken, and Baby Jackfruit Curry.

No Sri Lankan meal is complete without an array of bold condiments, offering bursts of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavours. Diners can savour Male Achcharu, Sinhala Achcharu, Lime Pickle, Coconut Seibel Sultana, Pineapple Achcharu, and Sini Sambal Lunumeris.  A dedicated live station will serve freshly prepared Kottu, Hoppers, and Sri Lankan street food, adding an interactive element to the feast.

This gastronomic adventure will conclude with traditional Sri Lankan desserts like Kevum, Watalappan, Puhul Dosi, Curd and Treacle, Pane Bundi, and Sago Pudding.

Each dish is a testament to Sri Lanka’s culinary landscape and epicurean craftsmanship, transporting them to the heart of the island nation.

Guests can enjoy the special lunch from 12:30pm to 3pm and dinner from 7pm to 11pm.
