Bira 91 re-enters UP market

Bira 91 has officially announced its re-entry into Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward market leadership in Karnataka. After months of revamping its brewing operations and streamlining its supply chain, the brand is back with fresher, more flavourful beers that aim to cater to the city’s dynamic and discerning beer drinkers.

This strategic relaunch is anchored by the appointment of a strong new sales and distribution partner, ensuring wider and more consistent availability of Bira 91 beers across Bengaluru’s key neighbourhoods and popular outlets. Adding strength to the brand’s renewed presence is the resumption of supply from its Mysuru brewery, which now ensures that the beers served across the city are brewed closer to home and delivered at peak freshness.

Bira 91’s beers, including the citrusy Belgian-style wheat beer Bira 91 White, the crisp and refreshing Blonde Summer Lager, and the rich, malty Munich Helles-style Bira 91 Boom, are now once again being poured across Bengaluru’s pubs, restaurants, and retail stores. At the same time, the brand’s taprooms at Koramangala and Kempegowda International Airport continue to serve as centres for craft beer innovation, offering limited-release brews every week, paired with a curated food menu and live music that keeps beer lovers coming back for something new.

Nayanabhiram Deekonda, Senior Vice President - Sales at Bira 91, said,  “There’s no city that understands beer like Bengaluru, and no better place for Bira 91 to double down. This is where we launched our first taproom, and the love we've received since has been a clear signal that the demand for fresh, flavourful beers is only growing. For us, Bengaluru isn’t just a market; it’s the heartbeat of our beer journey.”

With its beers now widely available across the city, Bira 91 is poised to reclaim its position as a leading force in Bengaluru’s thriving beer culture.
