Bira 91 reshapes leadership team to drive growth
Bira 91 has announced a strategic restructuring of its executive leadership team to power a bold turnaround focussed on growth, profitability and category leadership. Nayanabhiram Deekonda has been appointed Senior Vice President – Sales, consolidating national sales. A decade-long Bira 91 veteran and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Nayanabhiram brings cross-functional experience in sales, strategy, and venture capital.
Meanwhile, Vikram Qanungo has returned as the Chief Financial Officer. He brings in over 25 years of experience, including a previous stint at Bira 91 as its Chief Financial Officer (2015-2019), where he helped raise capital and drive global expansion. Deepak Sinha has stepped up as SVP - Brand & Innovation, leveraging his international alcobev experience to lead brand storytelling and portfolio innovation.
Another leadership change is reflected in the position of Vice President - Manufacturing. Dr. Manoj Mishra brings in two decades of supply chain expertise from Ball Corporation, ITC, and Coca-Cola. Vandana Sahni has been elevated to Chief of Staff & Head - Strategy, drawing on experience at Walmart and Dominos, and Sudhir Jain has been appointed as the SVP - Integrated Supply Chain. He will now also head the People function.
