Blenders Pride Fashion Tour unveils ‘Futureverse of Fashion’ in Gurugram
The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour opened its Gurugram edition with an avant-garde showcase that merged high fashion with emerging technology, unveiling what it called the “Futureverse of Fashion.” The show marked a bold step in the Tour’s vision of defining “Fashion’s Next Move,” presenting an immersive spectacle that pushed couture beyond fabric and form and into the realm of AI, digital art and interactive design.
Led by designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the showcase transformed the runway into an experiential universe. From actress Tamannaah Bhatia opening the show alongside humanoid robots to dynamic projections that stitched the narrative together, the event reimagined how audiences engage with fashion. Motion-sensing visuals responded to each model’s presence, while actor Shahid Kapoor’s holographic appearance delivered a show stopping moment that blurred the line between virtual and real.

Blenders Pride Fashion Tour has always been a platform that pushes the boundaries of creativity and expression,” said Debasree Dasgupta, CMO, Pernod Ricard India. “With this showcase, we’ve taken a bold step into the ‘Futureverse of Fashion,’ an immersive experience that redefines how fashion is presented in future. By seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology with couture, we’re making fashion move beyond the ramp; into a dynamic, interactive space where audiences can experience design in motion. It reflects our commitment to shaping a future where technology and style coexist effortlessly, inspiring a new generation to see fashion as an ever-evolving expression of identity and innovation.”
Designers Falguni and Shane Peacock said, “We’re thrilled to interpret and bring to life the Futureverse of Fashion, a concept that truly captures the spirit of what lies ahead… Through this collaboration, we’re proud to help shape a new narrative where innovation and creativity define the next era of style.”
FDCI Chairman Sunil Sethi added, “The Gurugram edition celebrates creativity, culture and sets the pace for what’s next in Indian fashion.”
Shahid added, “Being at Blenders Pride Fashion Tour runway is always exciting, but this year felt like stepping into a new era. The way technology and couture were woven together was both seamless and spectacular. The designs were fluid, effortless, yet distinctly futuristic. Fashion, to me, is at its best when it innovates without losing its sense of ease and tonight captured that perfectly.”
Tamannaah’s experience too was “electrifying where creativity knew no bounds. This blend of technology and high fashion is what is going to be next for the industry and I’m glad to be a part of shaping it.”
The Fashion Tour will next travel to Jaipur, where designers Abhishek Patni and Namrata Joshipura will present high-octane couture with Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu and rapper Raftaar on December 6.
