Leanne Cunningham, EVP and CFO, Brown-Forman
Brown-Forman Corporation has announced that Leanne Cunningham, executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), will retire on May 1, 2026, after more than 30 years with the company.
Cunningham joined Brown-Forman in 1995 as a Corporate Accountant and went on to hold key roles across accounting, finance, corporate strategy, and production operations before being appointed CFO in July 2021. She also joined the Executive Leadership Team that year.
President and CEO Lawson Whiting praised her leadership, saying Cunningham’s “greatest legacy may be the way she championed and developed people.” Cunningham expressed gratitude for her three-decade journey, adding she leaves with confidence in the company’s future.
A formal search for her successor is underway, with an appointment expected by year-end 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
