Brown-Forman secures William Grant distribution in Japan

Brown-Forman Japan has officially taken over exclusive distribution rights for William Grant & Sons’ premium portfolio in Japan. The American spirits company launched its distribution business in Japan in 2024. The agreement includes renowned brands such as Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Monkey Shoulder, Grant’s, Hendrick’s Gin, Tullamore Dew, Sailor Jerry and Drambuie.

This strategic move strengthens Brown-Forman’s presence in the Japanese market, allowing it to integrate William Grant & Sons’ brands alongside its existing offerings, catering to the growing demand for premium spirits in the region. Brown-Forman’s portfolio also boasts of iconic brands such as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Woodford Reserve, Herradura Tequila, Chambord, Gin Mare and Diplomático Rum.
