Bruichladdich unveils 16 YO single malt for GTR
Rémy Cointreau-owned Bruichladdich Distillery has launched Bruichladdich Organic Barley 16 Aged Years, an exclusive global travel retail single malt. Debuting at Singapore Changi Airport with Lotte Duty Free, this release follows the success of last year’s ‘Not Your Classic Whisky’ campaign. A wider rollout is planned for Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Glasgow, the Middle East and India.
The Changi activation features a Bruichladdich Tasting Bar, interactive merchandising and a ‘Not Your Classic’ Jumping Game. Distilled from 100 percent organically grown barley from Mid Coul Farms, Scotland, the whisky is matured for 16 years in ex-bourbon casks, delivering smooth vanilla, tropical fruit, and malt sugar notes.
Bottled at 50 percent ABV, this certified organic whisky aligns with Bruichladdich’s commitment to terroir and sustainability. Fida Bou Chabke, the CEO of Global Travel Retail at Rémy Cointreau, highlights its transparency, traceability and craftsmanship, making it a sought-after collector’s edition.
