Cashmir wins Gold at The Vodka Masters 2025
India’s first premium small-batch organic craft vodka, Cashmir, has achieved a landmark victory by winning gold medal at The Vodka Masters 2025 hosted by The Spirits Business. This is the first international gold for a premium Indian organic small-batch vodka, firmly placing India on the global vodka map.
Launched in May 2025 by Piccadily Distilleries, Cashmir represents a new chapter for Indian spirits. At its core lies Sona Moti, a 2,000-year-old organic heritage winter wheat that nearly vanished into extinction. After six years of revival, the rare grain, revered as the “Golden Pearl,” was cultivated exclusively to distill this one-of-a-kind vodka. Non-GMO, non-hybrid and fully organic, it forms the foundation of Cashmir’s distinct identity.
Celebrating the win, Shalini Sharma, Head of Marketing, Piccadily Agro Industries said, “This recognition demonstrates that India can not only match but truly surpass the world’s finest in vodka craftsmanship. With Sona Moti, we have reimagined an ancient grain for a new era of luxury spirits.”
Cashmir undergoes 7X distillation and 5X precision filtration through activated carbon, mango charcoal, and layers of platinum, gold and silver, before being blended with pristine Kashmir Valley glacial water. The result is crisp, smooth and luminous vodka that is 100 percent vegan, with zero sugar and no artificial flavours.
With this accolade, Cashmir Vodka establishes itself as a category-defining spirit, heralding a new era for Indian craft on the world stage.
