Champagne Lanson, the official Champagne supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon, brought a refreshing twist to summer with exclusive airport activations in partnership with Avolta. Running from May 30 through June, the campaign celebrated Lanson’s long-standing association with Wimbledon, dating back to 1977, by showcasing limited-edition Wimbledon Pouch Editions of its Le Black Création and Le Rosé Création Champagnes.

Travellers at key U.K. locations, including Heathrow (T2 and T5), Gatwick, Stansted, London City Airport, and shuttle terminal in Folkestone, experienced high-profile promotion points and immersive digital bars. These sleek activations highlighted Lanson’s signature non-malolactic fermentation style, known for its vibrant freshness and finesse.

The Wimbledon Pouch Editions, available for the first time through Avolta, featured reusable branded pouches that kept the Champagne cool and travel-ready. Le Black Création 75 cl offered a bold brut profile, while Le Rosé Création 75 cl delivered a fruit-forward, elegant experience, perfect for summer gifting or courtside celebrations.

Avolta reported a sell-out of the limited-edition pouches within a week, reflecting growing consumer interest in luxury travel retail experiences. This partnership underscores Champagne Lanson’s ability to blend tradition, innovation, and seasonal celebration, making it a sparkling staple of the British summer, both at Wimbledon and beyond.
