Chandon India bags 4 medals at Decanter World Wine Awards
Chandon India has secured four prestigious medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) 2025, the world’s largest and most influential wine competition.
Produced in the vineyards of Nashik in Maharashtra, Chandon India’s award-winning wines were recognised through rigorous blind tastings by a panel of 248 international wine experts. The brand’s flagship Chandon Brut and Chandon Délice Semi Dry earned silver medals with 94 and 92 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Chandon Rosé Extra Dry and the Chandon Vintage 2015 received bronze medals, each scoring 88 points. Notably, Chandon Brut and Chandon Rosé have demonstrated consistent excellence at the DWWA, winning accolades year after year over the past eight years. These accolades underscore the quality, finesse, and consistency that Chandon has brought to the Indian sparkling wine segment.
Commenting on the achievement, Kaushal Khairnar, Winemaker at Chandon India, said, “These awards represent the culmination of years of dedication to perfecting our craft. Each medal is a testament to the extraordinary potential of Indian viticulture and our unwavering pursuit of creating sparkling wines that rival the world’s finest.”
This four-medal triumph at one of the wine industry’s most respected competitions sets the stage for broader global recognition and future growth in international markets.
