Chef Vivek Saggar is new CTH Brand Ambassador for India

The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), UK, has appointed Chef Vivek Saggar as its official Brand Ambassador for India, reinforcing its commitment to expanding its footprint in South Asia and promoting UK-recognised qualifications in culinary arts, hospitality, and tourism.

A veteran with over 30 years in the food and beverage industry, Chef Vivek is known for his pioneering work in culinary education and hospitality consultancy. In his new role, he will advocate for globally benchmarked training standards, mentor institutions, and represent CTH at key forums and industry events.

The Chef called the appointment an honour. “I look forward to working with students, institutions, and industry leaders to raise the bar of professional training and open global opportunities for Indian talent.”

Through this strategic collaboration, CTH aims to strengthen its academic and industry partnerships in India, with a focus on curriculum development, faculty engagement, and enhancing student employability on the global stage.
