Durbar by Godawan Estuary Water is set to return with its second edition at the majestic Abheygarh Palace in Khetri, Rajasthan on January 9 and 10, 2026. Conceptualised as a mindful luxury retreat, Durbar continues to celebrate Rajasthan’s living traditions through music, craft, cuisine and conservation.

Building on its debut success in Ranthambore last year, this year’s edition again partners with cultural tastemaker Abhimanyu Alsisar known for his deep-rooted connection to Rajasthan’s heritage, ensuring the festival sustains its vision of blending royal grandeur with intimate, purposeful experiences.

Across two days, guests will explore Rajasthan’s creative soul through curated culinary journeys, craft showcases and workshops, conservation dialogues and musical collaborations. Highlights include a performance by Trilok Gurtu in collaboration with Nimad Live, a world music ensemble uniting five folk groups from Madhya Pradesh in a rhythmic dialogue of oral history and improvisation. Also taking the stage are Shye Ben Tzur and the Rajasthan Express, fusing Sufi poetry and desert folk traditions, along with contemporary acts The Tapi Project and Nuqta Project that reinterpret Indian folk and ghazal influences through modern soundscapes.

Durbar will also reimagine Rajasthan’s Phad storytelling tradition through a live concert combining painting, narration and music, highlighting the region’s artistic legacy.

Speaking on the return of Durbar, Vikram Damodaran, Chief Innovation Officer, Diageo India, said, “Durbar by Godawan was envisioned as a confluence of culture, community and conservation. Our first season reaffirmed the appetite for such mindful luxury experiences and we are proud to return with an even more immersive edition in Khetri. With Godawan Estuary Premium Water, we continue to redefine what luxury means in India; rooted in purpose, heritage, and sustainability.”

Cultural Curator Abhimanyu added, “Durbar is a celebration of Rajasthan’s living heritage, presented in a way that feels both timeless and new. Khetri offers the perfect canvas for this chapter; a destination steeped in history, waiting to be rediscovered. Together, we are curating a journey that places craft, music and conservation at the heart of mindful luxury.”

Set against Khetri’s dramatic landscapes, Durbar by Godawan promises an unforgettable experience where conservation meets craftsmanship and luxury finds new meaning.
