Fairmont Mumbai has unveiled Samaa, a new poolside, open-sky dining destination inspired by the breezy elegance of St. Tropez and the understated charm of the Amalfi Coast. Meaning “open sky”, Samaa is designed as a tranquil retreat where the city’s pace fades into a setting defined by golden-hour light, lantern-lit pathways and serene reflections on the water. Framed by warm amber hues, the venue transitions seamlessly from sunlit afternoons to starlit evenings, offering an intimate contrast to Mumbai’s urban energy.

Positioned as a reservation-only experience, Samaa caters to guests seeking refined, unhurried evenings, as well as those looking to host intimate gatherings and sophisticated soirées. The culinary offering centres on vibrant Mediterranean flavours, beginning with light al fresco plates such as hummus, fattoush, smoked moutabal and beetroot knafeh, alongside coastal favourites like popcorn shrimp and spiced squid. As the evening progresses, the menu evolves into soulful Turkish kebabs and grills, complemented by desserts including hazelnut baklava ice cream.
