Godawan Triple Cask Travel Exclusive
Diageo India’s celebrated artisanal single malt brand, Godawan, has introduced its latest innovation, the Godawan Triple Cask Travel Exclusive, crafted specifically for the global travel retail market. Launching first in India at Bengaluru Duty Free, the exclusive single malt will be available across key travel hubs, including Mumbai, Delhi, and the UAE, through 2025.
Distilled at Alwar, Rajasthan, and inspired by the region’s jaali woodwork, the Triple Cask expression is matured in ex-bourbon casks and uniquely finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry, virgin oak, and cherry wood casks. Bottled at 46 percent ABV in a 700 ml format, the expression is rich with floral and fruity aromas, a sweet textured palate, and a refined wood finish. Priced at approximately ₹5,500, it’s designed for gifting and moments of personal celebration on the move.
"Godawan Triple Cask Travel Exclusive edition introduces a new dimension of flavour and depth while staying rooted in the mindful luxury and provenance that define the brand. This format carries the spirit of Rajasthan to a global audience in a way that is personal, purposeful, and proudly Indian," said Vikram Damodaran, Chief Innovation Officer, Diageo India.
"We are proud to be the first travel retail destination to launch this exclusive Godawan single malt," said David Grady, Country General Manager, Avolta. David added, "This reflects India’s evolving premium palate and our commitment to curating rare and exceptional experiences for discerning travellers."
On the occasion, Praveen Someshwar, CEO and MD of Diageo India, commented, "In moments of travel pause, consumers are driven by curiosity and a desire for authenticity. Travel retail is the perfect fit for Godawan’s terroir-led, craft-driven philosophy."
Since its 2022 debut, Godawan has emerged as India’s most awarded single malt, rooted in craftsmanship, conscious consumption, and cultural storytelling. Named after the endangered Great Indian Bustard, the brand supports habitat preservation in Rajasthan with every bottle.
The Triple Cask Travel Exclusive not only expands Godawan’s portfolio but also reinforces its mission to present Indian single malts as global benchmarks of craft, culture, and collectability.
