Herita Marzotto announces celebrations at TFWA World Exhibition
Herita Marzotto Wine Estates, formerly the Santa Margherita Wine Group, is set for major celebrations at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes as it claims to become the first Italian wine company to earn Carbon Neutrality Certification across its entire vineyard estate.
On this achievement, Export Director Giacomo Marzotto said, “2025 has been an exceptional year for us. We celebrated our 90th anniversary with a major rebrand, and now we have achieved a remarkable first for the Italian wine sector with Carbon Neutrality Certification. This milestone underlines our deep commitment to sustainability and good practices, while setting a benchmark for others in the industry.”
At Cannes, Herita Marzotto will spotlight its travel retail-exclusive Santa Margherita Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG, launched earlier at TFWA Asia Pacific. “This Prosecco highlights our commitment to the channel and paves the way for future exclusive expressions. It offers travellers the chance to bring home a piece of enduring Italian beauty and craftsmanship.”
The limited-edition bottle celebrates Venice’s architecture and iconic window designs, reflecting Santa Margherita’s values of heritage, authenticity and sustainable design.
Airport activations are already live at Rome Fiumicino, Venice Marco Polo and Milan Malpensa with Lagardère Travel Retail and Avolta, featuring brand ambassadors, tastings and LED advertising.
Herita will also serve as the official wine sponsor of the TFWA Lounge, hosting curated tastings of the new Prosecco and other estate wines, including Oregon’s acclaimed Roco Winery. Prosecco recently won a gold medal at The Drinks Business Global Travel Retail Masters 2025.
