Hina Nagarajan appointed Diageo Africa’s President

Former Diageo India head Hina Nagarajan will assume the role of President of Diageo Africa, starting April 1, 2025. Previously serving as CEO and Managing Director of Diageo India, this marks her second tenure in Africa, having led Diageo’s Africa Regional Markets (ARM) with oversight of operations in Ghana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, the Indian Ocean, Angola, and more.

Announcing her transition on LinkedIn, Nagarajan stated, “As part of the Executive Committee at Diageo Plc., I take on a new role as President of Diageo Africa, effective 1st April 2025. This will be my second stint in Africa, where I previously served as Managing Director of Africa Emerging Markets.”

Reflecting on her leadership at Diageo India, she highlighted the company’s performance, stating, “Over the past four years as MD & CEO of Diageo India, it has been my honour to lead a passionate and dedicated team. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, delivered a strong financial performance, navigated challenges, and celebrated numerous successes. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished.”
