IGL’s Bunty Bubbly is yet again best-selling country-liquor
Bunty Bubbly, owned by India Glycols Ltd. (IGL), has been officially recognised by both the India Book of Records (IBR) and the Asia Book of Records as the country’s best-selling country liquor brand. IBR awarded the title to the brand for the third consecutive year.
“India Book of Records has awarded a certificate to our Company (for our Gorakhpur Unit) on 23rd June, 2025 for achieving highest sales (for the financial year 2024-25) for its popular alcoholic beverage brand namely “Bunty Bubbly” for the third consecutive year,” the company said in a statement.
IGL’s Gorakhpur unit achieved record-breaking sales of over 1.8 crore cases in the financial year 2024-25, as verified by the Uttar Pradesh Excise Department. The brand’s consistent performance and adherence to high-quality standards were cited as key factors in securing this achievement.
IBR awarded the title to IGL for setting an all-time record in production and sales. The Asia Book of Records also acknowledged the same feat, marking the brand's growing regional prominence.
Despite operating from a single production unit, Bunty Bubbly has not only achieved volume leadership but has also maintained its commitment to quality, positioning itself as a benchmark in the Indian country liquor segment.
