IHM Ranchi celebrates Bharat Parv in Delhi

The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Ranchi is showcasing Jharkhand’s traditional delicacies at ongoing "Bharat Parv", organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, from 26th January to 31st January, 2025.

The festival highlights India's rich cultural diversity through handicrafts, regional cuisines, cultural performances, and live kitchen experiences.

Bharat Parv 2025Visitors are relishing authentic flavours of delicacies from the Jharkhand including Chawal ki Chai (Rice Tea), DhuskaAloo Chana ki SabziMadua Chilka Roti and few more delicious foods at IHM’s platform at the event,  which drawing widespread appreciation.

Adding to the experience, on 28th January, IHM Ranchi chefs conducted a live cooking demonstration of Madua Ladoo, made from Jharkhand’s indigenous millet, Madua. The session was led by Chef Rajnish Kumar Singh and Chef Hare Krishna Chaudhary, with enthusiastic participation from food lovers.

Further enriching Jharkhand’s presence, the Department of Art and Culture is staging a Chhau dance performance, offering visitors a glimpse into the state’s vibrant traditions.

Bharat Parv in DelhiDr. Bhupesh Kumar, Principal of IHM Ranchi, expressed pride in showcasing Jharkhand’s culinary heritage on a national platform. "These dishes are not just flavorful but also highly nutritious. The overwhelming response, especially for Madua Ladoo, reaffirms the potential of Jharkhand’s cuisine in the mainstream food industry."

With enthusiastic participation and growing demand, Jharkhand’s representation at Bharat Parv 2025 is setting a milestone in the state’s tourism and culinary promotion.
