Johnnie Walker has unveiled a limited edition design of its iconic Blue Label in collaboration with Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer invited to showcase at Paris Haute Couture Week. The release is timed to coincide with the Indian festive season and will be available globally across select markets.

“Learning more about the time and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle has been a wonderful journey. Slowing the process of craft and creating a sustainable ecosystem for artisans is something close to my heart, so sharing my philosophy with a brand with centuries of heritage has been very special,” said Rahul, who is known for his intricate embroidery, vivid colour palettes, and commitment to ‘mindful luxury’.

Mishra’s design, which symbolises "bright beginnings", draws inspiration from native Indian flora and fauna, featuring blooming flowers, spirited animals and a radiant festive night that evokes abundance, joy and renewal. The artwork is a tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of festive celebration.

Dr. Walker, the sixth Master Blender in the brand’s nearly 200-year history, leads a small team of expert whisky makers who meticulously craft Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Each bottle is created from just 1 in 10,000 casks from the brand’s extensive reserves of over 10 million maturing Scotch whiskies, selected for their exceptional richness and character.

“Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a special Scotch whisky. Its luxurious flavour profile—from fresh citrus and rose petals to rich dark chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and a warming smokiness—makes it perfect for toasting on special occasions or pairing with festive dishes,” Dr. Walker added.

The limited edition bottle will feature prominently in Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s global festive celebrations, including collaborations with Indian talent and events scheduled for October and November. The design will also be available at select liquor retailers globally, including in Canada starting in September, while supplies last.
