Latango brings European sophistication to Delhi

Latango, an elegant all-day European bar concept, has opened its doors in Delhi. Founded by Sahil Sambhi, known for celebrated ventures like Japonico and Vietnom, Latango is India’s first European bar helmed by a European team. Blending classic culinary heritage with contemporary indulgence, chefs Roberto Blondi and Joe Stanchi offer a refined menu—think Atlantic crab tagliolini, scallop sashimi with a continental twist, and a featherlite tiramisu.

The cocktail programme, “Liquid Letters from Europe,” conceived with Vikram Achanta and Tulleeho, presents drinks as artistic expressions like the Cubist Negroni or the Rococo Rhapsody, crafted by Italian mixologists Giovanni and Terry. These mood-driven creations infuse personality, culture, and creativity into every glass.

“Latango brings the essence of Europe to the table; thoughtfully crafted and elegantly expressed,” says Sahil. “We’ve created a space that feels intimate but alive, where every element — from the way a drink is poured to the music in the background — invites you to slow down, stay longer, and come back for more.”

Latango’s interiors, designed by Vivek Guha of Orphic Design, merge raw materials with elegant finishes. A stacked-glass bar, corten steel ceilings, and soft bouclé seating create a space that feels sculptural and intimate. A mezzanine adds a private viewing perch, while the open kitchen turns dining into performance.

From early bites to late-night cocktails, Latango invites Delhiites to slow down, sip, and savour.
