Malfy Gin unveils new bottle design for Originale
Malfy Gin has revealed a sophisticated new bottle design for Malfy Originale, its classic dry gin offering, inspired by the iconic Amalfi Coast. The updated look reflects the brand’s ongoing evolution and its ambitions in the super-premium dry gin segment.
Speaking on the launch, Murielle Dessenis, Vice-President of Marketing, Global Gins at Pernod Ricard, said, “Our multi-award-winning Malfy Originale Dry Gin will be a key contributor to growth in the future, and we are thrilled to unveil our new bottle design inspired by the shimmering turquoise sea of the Amalfi Coast. It epitomises Italian allure and elevates the brand’s desirability and style, resonating with our consumers,” Murielle added.
The refreshed Malfy Originale bottle features a frosted glass ring, a vivid turquoise sunburst graphic and a redesigned logo with silver foil detailing, all evoking elegance and effortless Italian luxury. The design, developed in collaboration with UK-based Nude Design Studio, aims to strengthen Malfy’s visual identity in the competitive global spirits market. According to the company, the updated bottle has tested strongly in consumer research, especially in terms of its premium cues, elegant detailing and visual shelf appeal.
“The Malfy Originale redesign is more than a packaging update. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Malfy unique: Italian heritage, coastal inspiration and bold elegance,” Murielle concluded.
Malfy Originale is known for its bright, citrus-forward dry profile. Distilled using sun-ripened Italian lemons and water from the Piedmont region, the gin has received numerous accolades, including gold and silver medals from global competitions, and is considered a go-to choice for classic gin & tonic serves, as well as summer-inspired cocktails and spritzes.
Retailing at €35 (RRP), the new bottle will be introduced in Italy, the UK, Turkey, Australia and the United Arab Emirates from September, with additional markets expected to follow.
