Marzia Varvaglione elected president of CEEV

Marzia Varvaglione, Head of Business Development and Marketing & Sales Director at Varvaglione 1921, has been elected the President of the Comité Européen des Entreprises Vins (CEEV). This was announced during the March 2025 General Assembly in Brussels.

Succeeding Mauricio González-Gordon, Marzia will serve a three-year term, leading the European wine sector through challenges like market fluctuations and climate change. "It’s crucial for the wine sector to stand united in these challenging times,” said Marzia.

Marzia, representing the fourth generation of her family winery, has transformed Varvaglione 1921 into a global name, blending tradition with innovation. She also serves as President of AGIVI and a board member of UIV. Her leadership at CEEV reinforces Italy’s influence in the European wine industry and the growing impact of young entrepreneurs.
